Actually I’m in South Florida on vacation (where the Swine Flu has arrived as well), but I had to say a little something to introduce today’s guest post.  It is a piece from one of my favorite bloggers.  He was one of the original visitors here on Momisodes, and quickly gained my respect as an amazing writer, artist, and friend.  And he has kindly agreed to guest post here even though he had to compile his own post honoring his son’s 25th birthday today.

Sandy’s gone.  Vacay.
No one here but us chickens.
And a small Haiku.

Momisodes? Away.
Babisodes.  Dadisodes, too.
Gone to Florida.

Land of Oranges,
And Wally.  And Grandparents.
Long due honeymoon.

There will be fam’ly,
And, if they’re really lucky,
They will be alone.

They won’t be gone long,
but long enough to recharge,
the Love Battery.

Have lots of fun, guys.
Wash your hands, be careful.
Come home to us, safe.
