I’ve been tagged so many times with memes lately, I can hardly recall what I’ve been tagged for anymore.

May I please have a meme crown now?

As much as I would like to believe that any of you will actually click on those links (that I just spent the past 15 minutes linking), I know you won’t. SO, I’m swiping an idea from CajunVegan, BurghBaby, and DaddyDan. A little Q & A to hopefully clear the air.

So… ASK ME! Leave a question in the comments, and I’ll do my best to answer them. Try to keep ‘em nice and clean, and I’ll do my best not to be mean and dirty when I reply (unless you want me to). I’ll post replies in a separate post. This will give me some sanity during the stress of moving, signing our mortgage, and the next 30 years of Cup O’Noodle dinners.

1) I hate underwire bras. Pre-baby they didn’t bother me. Now I’ve removed them from all of my bras.

2) I’m not a huge book reader. I’ll pick up a book every now and then, but I was never one of those kids with a book in bed reading by moonlight or flashlight.

3) I love Chuck-E-Cheese pizza (don’t judge me). I’m almost certain the one near our house laces their pies with crack.

4) I’m a night owl. Always have been. I’m usually up until 1-2am writing these boring posts, click “Publish” and fall asleep around 3am watching VH-1 Celebrity Rehab, Rock of Love2, or Scott Baio is 36 and Pregnant, when I should be reading a stinkin’ book!

1. At what age do you wish to marry?

• In kindergarten, I wanted to marry when I was 10.
• At 10, I wanted to marry when I was 12 (to Jordan Knight).
• At 12, I decided I only wanted a dog and no kids.
• When I was 23, I met someone who changed my mind.
• When I was 24, the bastard changed his mind.
• At 27, I took the plunge with someone who promised to never change his mind, and made me want to have children. We married at an age we both wanted to and have no regrets.

2. What color do you like most?
Just one? Um…probably black. I tend to wear it the most.

3. Where is the place that you want to go the most?
Right now? ANY PLACE WARM! And if there is a beach and ocean, even better.

4. Which part of you do you hate the most?
Just one? My rack. Breastfeeding may be natural, but the aftermath is disastrous.

5. When you encounter a sad moment, what would you do?
Cry. And cry some more. I’m a blubbering mess these days. See yesterdays post if you don’t believe me.

6. What are you afraid to lose the most?
My life and my family. Witnessing death frequently throughout my career has only intensified this fear.

7. If you win $1 million, what would you do?
Pee my pants.
Then pay off our house, car, get a second car, give some to family, INVEST, and save…all AFTER I take a vacation to the place in #3.

8. What’s your wish for the year ahead?
For my family to be healthy and happy.

9. How did you celebrate the New Year?

I think I was sitting in front of my computer drinking from a non-alcoholic bottle of sparkling apple cider while hubby was asleep on the couch. Yup, we’re losers.

10. Till now, what is the moment that you regret the most?
Not spending as much time as I could have with my daughter after she was born. I returned to work in the hospital almost immediately, and then added another job online.

11. Which type of person do you hate the most?
Killers, liars and abusers. But mostly, the stupid people who don’t yield or signal on the road.

12. What is your ambition?
Aside from not losing my marbles on a daily basis, I just want to live a happy, fulfilling life with my family and provide them with the ability to do the same.

13. If you had one wish what would you wish for?

• My alter ego wishes for the ability to eat an entire cheesecake and not gain an ounce.
• Sandy wishes for good health for her and her family.

14. Name one of your body parts your hubby or boyfriend tells you he adores:
Ha! He says he loves “my heart.” My hormones will go ahead and translate that into- “Sandy, you ain’t lookin’ so fly these days, but ba-beh, I love who you are on the in-side.” *insert slimy salesman wink*

1. Socialize- Stop being such a hermit in front of this black hole that is my MacBook, and actual speak to grown ups. In public. Outside.
2. Lose weight- Maybe 2 pounds, 10 pounds, or somewhere in between. And eating only lettuce from December 25th to the 31st in 2008 to meet my goal is completely acceptable

Joined Blog365. I’m a sucker for punishment, and serene white rooms in solitude.

18. What are the Top 2 things that you are most thankful for the year 2007 that made you even more happier for 2008?

1. Moving 3,000 miles away from family.
2. Buying a home (moving in 2.5 weeks!)

Breathe.

Yes and no. The marriage and child part is covered. But the mansion, maids, and masseuses are missing. And Jordan Knight or Michael Buble are not serenading me to sleep every night *sigh*

Tagged by the ever-so-sweet-and-patient Zamejias (because it’s taken me this long to post this), here is my first letter of my name meme.

Here’s how it works:

1. Famous Singer: Sarah Vaughn (aka “Sassy” or “The Divine One”)- now she could Saaang!

3. Street: Sunset- I went to a Sunset high school and lived off a Sunset Drive.

4. Colour: Silver. But I prefer platinum.

Industry: meat products– Cuts slit in flank end of bacon slab between meat and skin, using knife, so that slab may be inserted into derinding machine- Gross! I would undoubtedly become a vegetarian with this job.

13. Celebrity: Sandra Bullock- LOVE her.

14. Magazine: Sports Illustrated- Have never cracked open a copy in my life.

15. City: San Diego- lived there for 4 years. I miss the weather, and nothing else.

16. Sports: Swimming- I suck at. I’m not very good at floating, but I still love being in the water.

17. Fruit: Strawberries (preferably on top of some cheesecake).

8 Things I’m Passionate About
1) My daughter Ella. Although she belches, soils herself, and doesn’t look a damn thing like me, (if one more person asks if I’m her nanny, they’re going to get a permanent time-out in the naughty spot, Jo Frost style) she is my world and I aspire to give her the best life possible.

2) My husband who has pimped out the back-end programming for this blog with his master geek skillz. I often whore his time away from his real job making video games that pays for the roof over our heads. I love him for that and so much more. But mostly because he never says “no”.

3) My family- I have a whole new level of appreciation for them after meeting my husband’s family (For more information, please check your local listings for channel and show times for the Jerry Springer Show).

4) Jazz- Especially vocal jazz. Nothing on earth evokes more emotion, thought, and inspiration within me. We named our daughter Ella after the legendary great.

5) Dance. Though I have not seen a studio in over 3 years.

6) Writing- I just started this blog, but my love for writing reaches far back. Back to when I swore Jordan Knight from N.K.O.T.B was going to father my children.

7) Friends- I have few close ones, but the ones who still stick around have made me who I am today, and consistently inspire me to grow.

8. Nursing- One day my profession will gain the same level of respect as our counterparts, and I hope to live to see it happen.

8 Things I Want To Do Before I Die:
1) Own a home. Preferably one that is not over 100 years old, haunted, or falling apart.–*UPDATE*- We’re moving into a home in a few weeks! It’s less than 100 years old too, and hopefully not haunted.

2) Go on a honeymoon. On a tropical island. And have tanned, hunky boys serve me drinks with umbrellas.

3) Learn how to play the piano and violin. Not just play. But puh-lay.

4) See the Great Wall of China, the ports of Hong Kong, and all landmarks in Italy, Paris, and Egypt.

5) As Lotus Carroll so eloquently said, “ See all my children grow up and have children of their own. So I can point and laugh at their misery.” The real fruits of my labor.

6) Maybe have one more child. Then hubby can join the “V” team.

7) Do something great and noteworthy. Not sure what or how. But it has to be great. And noteworthy.

8. Live in New York City. It’s the only place I have ever wanted to live.

Six Unimportant Things/ Habits/ Quirks About Myself (who makes up this stuff?)

1- I shake my feet while sitting and don’t realize it until someone stares at me.

2- I love to drink plain hot water at night. No tea bag. No coffee. Just hot water from a kettle.

3- My socks rarely match.

4- I don’t eat raw food. Not even rare steak. I know far too much microbiology. I’ve seen a tapeworm. And if I shared any more information, you will never eat raw food again either.

5- Every night around midnight, I have an insatiable hunger for food. I used to work the night shift, and my lunch hour was between 12am-3am. I’ve never been able to fully convert to a normal schedule.

6- *added late because I’m a doof*- I am terribly indecisive. It drives people nuts. That’s how I get attention.

Seven More Weird and/or Random Things You Never Wanted to Know About… Moi

1) I wish I were shorter. I love wearing heels, and I hate feeling like a skyscraper in them.

2) I love to travel, but I have an intense fear of heights and develop motion sickness easily. While flying, I’m about as high on drugs as the aircraft.

3) I beat up little boys when I was a child (I know. I know…so wrong in many ways). I was teased quite a bit as a tall, Asian girl in a predominantly Hispanic city, and boys were especially cruel. So I felt inclined to kick their asses. In public.

4) I still feel the urge to kick peoples asses as an adult (I know. I know…still so wrong in many ways). I don’t do it, but c’mon, you know you wish you could sometimes! Remember that guy that cut you off on the freeway and…

5) I’ve always wanted to lie on the beach topless. But I am far too chicken. Since I always lived near a beach, I never had the opportunity to layout without fear of stumbling upon someone I knew. Now after breastfeeding for over a year, no way will I EVER get to do this. Fear, or no fear. They are in no way, shape, or form suitable for public display.

6) I’ve never seen porn. Honest. I realize I may be the only person on earth over the age of 10 who hasn’t. And yes, I did attend college. And yes, I have cable. Maybe that would be a great movie title- the 30-Year Old Porn Virgin. I only know of the classic song that everyone describes- Bow-Chikkah-wOW-wOW…

7) I cry when I step on snails. You know, the ones that love to come crawling out onto the sidewalks after it rains….Crrruuuunch! *Sobs* Yes, I am pathetic.
