Easter Bunny Sighting

Breaking News!!!
This just in…
Somewhere outside the city of Boston, a family has reported an Easter Bunny sighting! Early this morning, the family of three heard noises coming from their kitchen. Upon inspection they found the refrigerator door wide open, and 20 half eaten baby carrots still rolling on the ground. The mother of the household, quick and incredibly clever, grabber her digital camera and ran to the nearest possible exit to snap evidence of the elusive holiday figure. Here is the photo on file.
Since the sighting, the toddler of the house has developed a strange, overwhelming need to dip eggs in dye.
And then she hovers around them, as if they were truly her own.
Does this mean she wants to be fertile?

Awww!! What a great little storyline this week!! I’m lovin’ those eggs! I’m the bad mommy that forgot to pre-hard-boil ours…then we were out of the house all evening so eggs never got done. We have easter baskets, but they look very empty without eggs!!

Say.. how did you managed dying the eggs without her smashing them all up? Yesterday, my eldest wanted to help by putting his plate in the sink and instead he just spilled the remains on the floor, fridge door (i just cleaned it all up just before lunch). The youngest, moments away, climbed the chair to reach the water, took a sip and then put it back on the table. ahem. all over the table, and the kitchen floor. I enjoyed your ‘breaking news’ … fuzzy bunny photo … and the glimpses of Ella enjoying the ‘traditional festivities’ of Easter. I don’t miss having to figure out ways to consume all those hard-boiled eggs after they’d been decorated, hidden, and found again.

What cute pics! Your daughter is a cutie!! We have some bunny ears for both my boys but I forgot about them. We’ve had them about 3 years though, so that’s no biggie! And, my oldest, who’s now 12, insists that he’s TOO old to wear them anyway
