beyond the glacial window
mourning season’s end.
The recent dip in temperatures in New England remind me of this photo I took last year towards the end of fall. When our activity outside began to fade, like the afternoon sun that snuck away earlier and earlier each day.

Great shot. I love the back of kids’ heads, always makes for a really nice composition. I SOOOOO want to do NaBloPoMo. I’ll be in another state till the 10th…we’ll see if I can pull it off.

That pictures breathes the whole atmosphere.
I get that same feeling when winter arrives, and I’m always on the lookout for spring!

I hear ya – it’s still in the 60s in WI, but we get the cold bad this time of year. I am spending as much time outside and away from the computer as I can until the temp drops below 50!
