Hahahaha! My grandson mines for gold too but all he gives me are boogers. He says “Here grandma, I don’t want it.” We have tried to introduce him to Kleenex but it has been a hard sell.

I was soooo surprised when a few months ago, I caught Elijah picking his nose. For some crazy reason, I didn’t think that would start for at least another year if not half a year! (He was about 12 months at the time.)

They’re either pickers or they’re not. Mostly, they are. It’s rather gross, and you’d like to kill whoever might have taught them such a lovely habit. At the same time, there’s something cute about it, too. Children are God’s way of reminding us not to get too uppity.
