Sleeves superfluous
But long winter months
Trapped inside to graze all day
Notable weight gain
I need to prepare
Begin to eat properly
Sayonara sweets
Oh carbohydrates
how I will miss you dearly

I must stay focused,
keeping my eye on the prize-
Two-piece bikini
Sure there are options,
one-piece or tankini, but
I don’t own either
Does not matter though
I will swim nonetheless, and
will not. post. pictures.

I’m trying to get in the watch-what-I-eat mindset to put on a 2-piece (and feel good about it!) in June. I have short legs so a one-peice just makes me look weird. I may be to look for a skirted bottom though.

I haven’t worn a bikini since I was 6 years old….and I can’t imagine ever fitting in to one again (not with my 3-time c-section pouch!)

I don’t believe a word of this.. lovely haiku’s but you are a liar, you are still rockin’ the two-piece, I just KNOW it!!!
Carbs are evil, they truly are. I’m a carb-holic too, obvious reasons (walking around most of my life with rice stuck on my sock).
I know what you mean about weight gain though (even though I’m sure you’re teeny); you’ll feel better when you’re leading a healthier lifestyle too.

I’ll tell you what my solution was (and will be a couple of days from now when I hit the beach too). Bikini top and board shorts! Covers what you want covered and bares what can be bared. They rule!
