How I know Chicago is the place for me

The Beer Garden at their downtown Navy Pier named one of their daily specials after me.

One of the big highlights of my trip to Chicago was getting the chance to explore a bit around the city with blog friends. Thank you so much Tara and Melissa for inviting me to the Navy Pier with you!

This is hilarious. It took me several days of wandering confused around Madison, WI, where I went to college, to figure out that “brat” rhymed with “hot” and not with “hat.” It cleared up a lot once I learned that.
