Swingsetbackyard

The real estate papers are signed.

Keys are in hand.

The icing on the cake…. this fabulous swing set!

Since we were so accommodating to the sellers throughout the home buying process, they kindly left us their outrageously expensive swing set! Woohoo! How many days until Spring?

Sorry for the short post, but the moving madness ensues. Thank you all for your congratulatory comments and well wishes yesterday. I would like to say a very special Thank You to Lotus and Lou for their dedicated post regarding our home purchase. Check it out here.

You are the sweetest cyber friends and family, ever!

Totally awesome for you. I’m jealous…we need to get out of this apartment, and I’m seriously contemplating looking into buying a home, even though I know our credit is really close to trash. I’m wondering if we’ll have to give our wonderfully loved (we love it—and you can tell kids live in it, and someone just doesn’t have the energy to clean it out) Grand Am back in order to get a car with a cheaper loan (T, I think, is actually working to pay down on the principal of the car, so that the interest goes down, and we don’t have such a big car loan…I think that might be one of the few things keeping our [mainly his] credit looking not too bad…most of the other bills are medical, which we’re also working on, and we really don’t owe much…but still, we don’t get approved for many cards. We try, but we get turned down. Even though I really don’t want one). I hope not—I love that car.

But I’m starting to wonder if we’ll have to BUY a house to move into what we want. Which may or may not work against our future plans of moving to Colorado. I mean, a house *could* always be sold—but then, it says we’re setting down roots in a space too. :-| I don’t know, really I don’t know…

Sorry, middle of the night musings here…check out my blog for more randomness *insert eye roll here*

That’s awesome! A great house AND a huge swingset! Free is the best, isn’t it? We were given a similar one shortly after we built. We had to tear it apart, move it and reassemble it, but it was FREE!

Congratulations! I’m happy everything came through for you. And congrats on the swing set. Miss Ilia wants one and I say, “Okay, but it’s either a swing set or college.” And she wants to go to college so bad she says, “Okay, you can take me to the park.”

  15. TasinaNo Gravatar

How fun about the swingset. We rent a VERY small house. But we picked it because it has a nice fenced yard and my mom bought the swingset. It’s not quite as big as that one, but it’s so nice for a kid to have a place to run. We live in such a small place that we can send Noah out in the yard on his own and we have no worries. That alone is worth living in a tiny place. Have fun moving in!

Yay! It’s so much fun moving into a new place, and so much better when it’s YOURS and you can do stuff to it, like paint and rip out carpet and knock a hole in the wall accidentally without worrying about your security deposit! Not that we have done that, much…

Congratulations! And enjoy the new house!!!

Ella is going to have so much fun and look! Your neighbors must have children. The have a play set too! Now all you need is some summer sun, green grass, a lawn chair, a good book, a paddling pool to put Ella and your feet in…any drink with an umbrella in it Even Kool Aide is good with an umbrella! I am all about the umbrella! Ahhh! For lazy summer days…the sound of children playing…the neighbors lawn mower humming happily…the scent of all the flowers you are going to grow and even the dog will be happy checking out all the smells…chasing butterflies and doing his dog stuff. Hope your move goes good.
