I can use it even in the dark or blindfolded. :) Ironically, my hubby got me a Tivo several years ago thinking that it will help me to go to sleep earlier since now I can watch it later rather than stay up late to watch my late night shows.. Oh... How wrong he was. I’m such a night owl too. You are lucky that your remote still works. I don’t know what I will do if my Tivo remote die.
