She’s Baaaaaack

There are many things I miss about living in South Florida.

Aside from the endless beaches, palm trees, and *sigh* warm weather,  I find myself longing for these….

pastalitos
Pastelitos.

Oooooooooh… the pastelitos.

*nom nom nom*

My mom is visiting this week from back home and she brought these lovelies with her.

Have you tried them?  No? You’re missing out.

They are Cuban pastries with knee-dropping filling made of cream cheese and/or guava.

To.Die.For.

Anyhow, I believe these babies just may tie me over until this caffeine drought is over.

Well, maybe until tomorrow,…when they’re all gone.

Visit 5 Minutes for Mom to see Wordless Wednesday others who actually participated properly.  Or visit Seven Clown Circus for Wordful Wednesday if you can’t keep keep your mouth shut about your pics, like me.

Isn’t it nice to to have a choice Wordless or Wordful — or be like me and do neither. I really must kick myself and start participating more.

Now wouldn’t those pastries be more wonderful with a steaming hot cup of jave or and icy cold cola???? Just thought I’d be a little mean. You are doing great staying away from caffine. I’ve been caffine free (or very limited amounts of caffine) for about 3 years now.
