Story of my life
I have been incredibly distracted lately. I am now in that dreaded period of waiting until I can take a pregnancy test. Plus, with BlogHer just 2 weeks away, I’m starting to panic a little. Not only because of my lack of wardrobe, but also because I am just not prepared. Between managing the household and *ahem* trying to conceive, I just barely ordered my business cards in time to receive them before my trip. Speaking of which, I finally decided to order my cards from Zazzle. They allowed me to tweak and design my business card with more liberty than any other site I tried.
So what do I do when I find myself stressed and buried under a pile of to-do lists?
I procrastinate.
Oh, and I can do it well; like nobody’s business.
In the past few days, I’ve stripped wallpaper, played more PopCap games (Plants vs Zombies is nearly as addictive as Bejeweled), and lingered around the internet aimlessly.
And while doing so, I found Kelley’s reference to Web Site Story.
Oh the hilarity!
If you’re a web junkie, you MUST see this. I’m guilty of using everything referenced, minus eHarmony. Although I did meet Dadisodes on a different site.
Plus, it pointed me in the direction of the internet radio site Pandora. Love it.
*sigh*
Where have you been all of my life?
Okay…besides business cards, how else do we need to “prepare” for BlogHer? Cause I have no idea what I’m doing….and I’m not even trying to conceive. I have no excuses….

Not making Blogher this year so I can keep on procrastinating all the things I need to get done…conception is definetly not one of them.

@Lee of MWOV- I know. I have NO IDEA either. I’m just glad I finally got my business cards squared away. All I know is…I have nothing but sneakers and flip-flops in my closet. Neither of which, I would like to wear to the event.

Well, I have my cards ready, but little else. I’m still on a the hunt for some comfy shoes that don’t look like crap! I suppose I should look at the agenda too, to figure out what to attend at the conference, well outside of all the parties

Oh I’m so glad you like Pandora. My hubby turned me on to it bec he loves it in his office at work, but I always forget about it! Seriously, I sit at the computer in total silence typing, then hours later I go “hmmm, I wish I had put on some music”, then I log off and leave, lol.
Hey, I hope you’re remembering to use pandora for that TTC gig. I’m sure if it was me, I’d probably forget and 3 minutes later go “hmmm, I wish I had put on some music”, then roll over and go to sleep…
Ok, sorry, that’s totally NOT how things happen around here (in case my husband ever finds this blog and reads it – I love you honey).

My husband is completely addicted to Bejeweled. I’ve watched him play but I fear the addiction so I haven’t tried it myself. I know if I mention Plants vs Zombies, he’ll jump on that too!

I love Zazzle!! I had my last two batches of cards made from them (first one didn’t have twitter handle, 2nd one I actually put my picture on the back). Plus I made shirts for my hubby’s garage.
Even though I told you about the Blitz (I’m ahead of you this week as of yesterday – smack smack), I will try to stay away from plants and zombies. Now that I write it, the urge to check it out is strong, good thing it is blocked from work

I’m the Queen of procrastination – especially when I have piles and piles of stuff to do. For example, when I moved – I didn’t even start packing until the day of. Let me tell you right now – that was a HUGE mistake. Will I learn from that experience? Eh….
