I’ve been tagged so many times with memes lately, I can hardly recall what I’ve been tagged for anymore.

May I please have a meme crown now?

As much as I would like to believe that any of you will actually click on those links (that I just spent the past 15 minutes linking), I know you won’t. SO, I’m swiping an idea from CajunVegan, BurghBaby, and DaddyDan. A little Q & A to hopefully clear the air.

So… ASK ME! Leave a question in the comments, and I’ll do my best to answer them. Try to keep ‘em nice and clean, and I’ll do my best not to be mean and dirty when I reply (unless you want me to). I’ll post replies in a separate post. This will give me some sanity during the stress of moving, signing our mortgage, and the next 30 years of Cup O’Noodle dinners.

1) I hate underwire bras. Pre-baby they didn’t bother me. Now I’ve removed them from all of my bras.

2) I’m not a huge book reader. I’ll pick up a book every now and then, but I was never one of those kids with a book in bed reading by moonlight or flashlight.

3) I love Chuck-E-Cheese pizza (don’t judge me). I’m almost certain the one near our house laces their pies with crack.

4) I’m a night owl. Always have been. I’m usually up until 1-2am writing these boring posts, click “Publish” and fall asleep around 3am watching VH-1 Celebrity Rehab, Rock of Love2, or Scott Baio is 36 and Pregnant, when I should be reading a stinkin’ book!

All of our books (that are over 123 pages) are packed. But my husband has 1 remaining book on the night table. Did I mention I’m not a huge reader? Hubby is, and this. is. a. snoozer.

1. How long have you been blogging?
I created a Blogger and WordPress account in March of 2007, but never really posted many entries in fear of people actually reading about my life and sounding like a complete moron.

So instead of rambling on and on about my uneventful life as a WAHM (work-at-home-mom) or divulging about the intricacies of my life, I began digging my way through the blogosphere and lurked my way around exploring (probably to all of your blog’s and more). I posted an entry here and there, but timidly. I wanted to see what people were talking about first, read up on blogging advice, and just find out if this was something worth investing my time into since I would be publishing my life … to the world.

By late October of 2007, I finally felt ready and determined to use blogging as my outlet to express, create and explore, and dove head first into self-hosting Momisodes just before November 1st, 2007.

So officially, about 2.5 months.

2. What inspired you to start a blog and who are your mentors?
Every single blog in the blogosphere that I visit inspires me. Really, if did not take the time wade through the courage and candidness on other blogs, I would have never started. The one blogger whom I consistently turn to because of her talents as a writer, mother of 3, and uber bloggerness is Kerflop. Her blog actually nudged me into self-hosting. But every blogger I’ve read has unknowingly held my hand throughout my journey.

3. Are you trying to make money online, or just doing it for fun?
Both.

Blogging has offered me overwhelming benefits to my sanity and well-being. So if I can make a few dol-lahs to cover the costs of self-hosting my “therapy,”…then cool

4. What 3 things do you love about being online?
1- It gives me something to do when it’s 2 freaking degrees outside!!! (For the love of GOLB! I hate winter!)

2- LMAO at the expense of other people’s blog’s. What? Ya’ll put it out there. I just point and laugh.

3- Twittering- we have not been fully acquainted, but I do love you so (please feel free to follow me there if you have an account. I heart stalkers).

5. What 3 things do you struggle with online?
1- Managing my online work (ConnectingMoms & MillionMomPicturePage).

2- Balancing my online work with my blogging life (and yes, blogging does take on it’s own identity).

3- Balancing my online work, my blogging life, and my life offline.

The temperature gauge on my dashboard read 70F degrees last weekend, this Sunday 40F. Believe me, when it’s near 65F degrees, I’m already knee knocking in a tightly wrapped sweater. But this weekend it was cold, really cold. Well, cold in my tropically warped mind. And I wished to be nowhere but on my couch mummified in a fleece blanket. But a toddler can only be confined in an ecru walled apartment for so long before they start begging for non-recycled air. So what did I do? I did what many moms apparently do- I buckled my daughter securely in her car seat, and headed straight over to Chuck-E-Cheese (insert image of white flag waving from car antennae).

I mention that many moms apparently do the Chuck-E-Cheese thing for a reason. Specifically because it appeared that every mom in the state of Massachusetts shared my exact idea, and brought her children to the same chain location we went, at the very same time! It took thirty minutes of standing in line just to order our pizza (their pies are certainly laced with cocaine. I crave for no other), and another forty minutes to get it. Not to mention the incessant running of the bulls setting with screaming kids nearly trampling my daughter (file for later as- avoid Chuck-E-Cheese on weekends like an L.A. freeway).

Despite the madness that ensued within the kingdom of animatronics, junk food, and mayhem, my daughter still managed to find a glimpse of amusement. Her impressive skills of cause and effect discovered that inserting a shiny gold coin into a vertical opening would initiate a ride to move. The big hits were: a three-horse, 10-second merry-go-round, and a Teletubbies ride that moved an entire 2 inches side-to-side. Both became favorites merely because she was able to insert the mouse-faced token independently while sitting on the ride. This concept alone, sold her.

She later came home and tested this theory on statuesque human subjects, like dad. Here she is reaching out her arm to insert an imaginary a token (if only these were accepted at all the fine Chuck-E- Cheese locations).

And here she is having an imaginary fun ride as dad continues to sit motionless working on his computer.

Maybe we need to get her out more
