I’m not sure what happened during the winter of 2004. Just about every kid we know near Babisodes’ age is a girl. Perhaps the holiday alcohol consumption that year reached an all time high, causing a worldwide “Y” swimmer slow-down. Whatever it may be, finding boy friends (yes, the words are separated) for Babisodes to play with has been few and far between.

In recent weeks at preschool, several children have trickled back in from their summer vacations and the male to female ratio is finally starting to level off. Naturally, to give us a heart attack, Babisodes took an immediate liking to every. single. one of the little bodies of testosterone. (more…)
