I am posting a bit later than usual today.  Dadisodes was actually home the entire day, so we seized the opportunity to hunt for a Christmas tree.  After years of apartment living, and this being our first Christmas in our home, we decided to forego our usual 3-foot artificial tree this year.

After sifting through dozens of spruce and fir trees, we finally decided to go with a Fraser Fir.  Its needles seemed the softest, and it is incredibly fragrant (which I love).

Here he is just moments after coming home, enjoying a sip of water.

Of course we couldn’t leave him naked so we dressed him up with a little bling.

Uh…he’s a bit bottom heavy at the moment, thanks to our 3-foot tree decorator.
