Words, Words, They’re Good For Your Heart
Thursday, April 2nd, 2009I really dislike those parents.
The ones who always has the fastest, brightest, most talented child in the universe.
Or at least according to them.
The parent at the playground who asks if your child eats tofu, which mine does, just so they can one up you and say, “Well, my kid loves tofu, and eats it with liver and brussel sprouts.”
Seriously? Does that make you feel better as a parent?
Anyhow, I am not one of them.
Although, there is one thing that I have always been impressed with in Babisodes. As a 3-year old, Babisodes has a rather extensive vocabulary and developed verbal skills. But before I go strutting around and beating my chest like one of them, please allow me to say that I have never confessed this to another parent about my child. In fact, I was not really aware of it until her pediatrician pointed it out at her third year check up. (more…)
