Sorry for being so cheesy, but good heavens did I really miss having chocolate cake throughout lent.  I made these cupcakes for a small Easter get together we had over at our house.  Sadly, half of the guest list could not make it at the last minute.

So now I am forced to eat 24 chocolate, cream cheese frosted cupcakes.

Fat pants,…rejoice.

Momisodes’ Favorite (easy) Cream Cheese Frosting

1/2 package of cream cheese
1/2 stick of butter (softened)
1/2 cup of confectioner’s sugar
1 tsp vanilla extract

Mix all ingredients thoroughly in a bowl with mixer on medium speed.
Add food coloring if desired (I messed up and the green frosting came out a bit…uh…vomit colored).
