Theme: Squeaky

This squeaky duck is a bath time regular for my daughter.  We’ve moved several times, but he’s tagged along throughout the years.  Our dog swears that anything that squeaks (including mice and squirrels) belongs to him.  So this little ducky lives permenantly inside of our bathtub, the only place our dog refuses to explore.

Theme: Favorite

You’ll have to excuse the poor photo quality.  This is a scanned image of a photo I took years ago, before I had a digital camera.

Although I’ve only lived on the East and West coast of the U.S., I have to say that my favorite sunsets were those along Miami Beach, Florida.  This is a view from my apartment building while living on South Beach (overlooking Biscayne Bay). Perhaps because these fiery, orange skies remind me of home in Miami, or because I could wear sandals or flip-flops year round.  Either way, the memories of those sunsets will always keep me warm.

You know those escalators in malls and airports?

Don’t let your child stand close to the step in front of them while going up.

Especially if they’re wearing loose fitting pants.

We have 2 pairs of pants with this same grease stain that will not wash out.

This Week’s Theme: Road

I love how different the world looks at night.  We rarely get a chance to go out in the evening, but when we do, one of my favorite things is watching the reflections of light along roadways.
