Theme: Squeaky

This squeaky duck is a bath time regular for my daughter.  We’ve moved several times, but he’s tagged along throughout the years.  Our dog swears that anything that squeaks (including mice and squirrels) belongs to him.  So this little ducky lives permenantly inside of our bathtub, the only place our dog refuses to explore.

Theme: WIDE

I’ll be honest.  When I saw today’s theme I immediately thought of my a$$. But I’ve already documented the wide load here.  However, this shot came in close second. I found this moose in one of the many animal displays at the Harvard Museum of Natural History this past summer.  I’ve never seen one wild, so I was amazed to see how tall and HUGE it was!

Theme: Favorite

You’ll have to excuse the poor photo quality.  This is a scanned image of a photo I took years ago, before I had a digital camera.

Although I’ve only lived on the East and West coast of the U.S., I have to say that my favorite sunsets were those along Miami Beach, Florida.  This is a view from my apartment building while living on South Beach (overlooking Biscayne Bay). Perhaps because these fiery, orange skies remind me of home in Miami, or because I could wear sandals or flip-flops year round.  Either way, the memories of those sunsets will always keep me warm.

Theme: Breakfast

I have a confession.

I’m trying the banana diet.

Apparently, Japan is having a shortage of bananas all thanks to dieters trying this latest fad diet.

It consists of eating a banana (as many as you want) for breakfast, with warm water. You don’t eat anything until lunch. Then you can eat nearly anything you want for lunch, snack and dinner, but it has to be before 8 p.m. You cannot eat anything after dinner, including sweets. Then, you have to go to bed before midnight (This part is killing me.  I rarely get to bed before 1am).

I am also eating healthier(ish) and incorporating exercise of course.

Hopefully I’ll see some results.

Theme: Metal

This is the inside of my washing machine.

Notice something missing?  Clothes, you say?

Yeah, I’m too tired.

My body is still pissed off at me about Black Friday.  I don’t think I will wake up at 3am voluntarily EVER again.  Not matter how cheap socks and pajamas will be!

Oh, and a little note to self- 4am in Boston around Thanksgiving is flipping c.o.l.d.

Perhaps I’ll post about the madness next week…when my feet and my wallet have recovered.
