It’s me, Sandy. Ya know, Momisodes?
I’m alive!
Sorry I’ve been so quiet. It’s just that, well…
You know when you take a nice hot shower? The steamy, pulsating water tickles your scalp and then envelopes and massages your bare, exposed skin with warmth. It feels amazing, exhilarating, and sometimes therapeutic. Like blogging. But when you do it every single day, it doesn’t always feel like a spa session. Short on time, you don’t shave. Out of soap, you lather shampoo all over and hope for the best.
But in these past two weeks…
I’ve been soaking in a tub.
Far, far away from the blogosphere.
Your messages and comments here while I’ve been away have been so sweet and are luring me back.
But I’m still soaking.
With my head tilted back and cucumbers over my eyes. My fingers and toes may appear pruney, but I’m not ready to come out just yet.
Soon though. Very soon.
Until then, please feel free to poke around the new digs. See who helped to change up the site. Make yourself at home and don’t be afraid to open, turn, and click on anything you like. Just let me know if you find something out of place or broken.
I promise to be a better host soon.
I’ll make sure to shower first.

How LOVELY to know you’ve been pampering yourself so delightfully … and what nifty changes to the ‘look’ of your blog. Of course I’ve missed your witty entertaining posts and lovely photos, but I figured you’d return when you’re ready … and I do believe ‘real’ life should always take precedence over the ‘virtual’ one … seriously! FYI – I bought a NikonD60 and my sister’s back for three months so I may be slowing down considerably myself. We’re going to lunch and taking a digital camera class together this afternoon. I’ve not posted anything on any of my blogs yet today and don’t know whether I’ll be inspired to do so … but I have been busy on all of them lately sharing PICTURES ;–)
