How awesome were those! I love the spider web. At first glance I thought it was a broken window — The pears in the last shot look good enough to eat. I’m not a big fan of apples. Of course, Babisodes take the prize. I love the caption with her holding the pumpkin — very clever, Mom.

We made a trip to the apple orchard Friday. Evie had a great time. Now, what to do with all these apples??? Everything that comes to mind is fattening…

When I was a little boy, my grandfather’s brother (Uncle Carl) had a fruit farm near Bangor, Michigan. I remember late summer trips to the farm to pick stuff, various berries, Apples and pears and peaches. And Grapes. Yum. Thank you for stimulating a long unvisited memory.
