Yawn…

Not much to do around us
Been to Wal-mart twice
Day #2 of our trip and it appears there is not too much to see around us. Although there are plenty of Wal-marts! Today we spent the day with in-laws preparing for tomorrows wedding. Here is a photo of Ella and her cousin completely ignoring their roles as flower girl and ring bearer.

Oh, dear. Wal-Marts are the highlight? You poor, poor dear!

Ugh. Boringness sucks. I’m not a huge fan of NC anyway given my own history there…but yeah. What part of the state are you in?

It’s the Wedding! You don’t want too many distractions anyway. Especially not Disneyland! *grin*
*no need to wave brownies in front of you either*

I grew up in a small Southern town where Wal-mart is the highlight. I so get this post.

I’ve lived in a town where Wal-Mart was the chief attraction… In some ways, it’s not so bad… in other ways, not so good…
Hope the wedding goes well.

You must love being outside without jackets and snow boots. The weather looks lovely. I would even enjoy Wal Mart if I could have weather like that but I can totally relate to your pain. It would suck to travel all that way only to have to go Wal Mart.

Oh my, I feel for ya … seriously! I went in a Walmart once … looked around briefly … walked out and never returned. Just not my kind of place I guess … no matter how good the bargains. My sister however shops there regularly (even when not on the road). They’re in Little Rock, Alabama (in the rain) currently and saw the Clinton Library yesterday.
I was a flower girl at a cousin’s wedding (eons ago) … hope Ella and her cousin enjoy their respective roles more than I did.
Hugs and blessings,

Hey do the Walmarts have McD’s in them, because then you could have an Egg Mcmuffin and THAT would just be too exciting to bear LOL!!!
The kids are just adorable though. I can’t wait to see them in their gear!

April 20th, 2008 at 1:35 am
Yes, but do they (like in Missouri) call a single Walmart store “Walmarts”. As in, “I need to go to Walmarts.” Or, worse, “I need to go to the Walmarts.”
If so, get out of there as soon as you can.

teehee…I live in NC and am wondering where you are that there are MULTIPLE Walmarts (and I can use the word ‘Walmarts’ since I am actually referring to more than one!)
